Lesley’s Circle (Circle 113) was originally called “Suzanne’s Circle” thanks to donations from the Suzanne Elliott Charitable Trust from 2018 to 2020.
For over 20 years Lesley has actively assisted asylum seekers and refugees living in South Australia, both as an independent advocate & friend. She is also a past member of Hills Circle of Friends (Circle 9, 2011 – 2019), a current member of Blackwood Hills Circle of Friends (Circle 7) and a member of the COFA management committee.
This circle provides a wide range of advice and help including:
- Financial assistance with daily living expenses, utilities, car registration and medication costs.
- Assistance with advocacy and responding to correspondence from Centrelink, Medicare, Department of Home Affairs, legal support organisations and medical clinics.
- And also attends appointments when invited.
All of the above is totally reliant on donations which are tax-deductible.
Please donate whenever you can manage – a single donation or a monthly debit (both tax-deductible)- to prevent these, the most powerless people in our country, from further hardships so they can continue to hope that these hard times of endurance will end, and they must keep looking ahead to the arrival of better times.
You can make a single or repeating donation to Lesley’s Circle via our secure Give Now page – be sure to reference Lesley’s Circle (Circle 113).
