Success stories from the Empowerment Circle

The Empowerment Circle (Circle 132), which was set up to support the education of girls in Afghanistan, has had some successes in the past few months:

They have successfully opened a sewing and tailoring class for a group of girls in Afghanistan to help empower them economically, as they are currently unable to work freely. Through this initiative, the Circle aims to enable them to earn an income within their local communities. After six months of training, they will graduate as professional tailors, ready to accept orders and run their own businesses from home.

The Circle is excited to have been able to arrange entrance to university for one of the students. After many hours of hard work, dedication, and countless challenges, one of the girls from the underground schools has been granted a visa to study university abroad in a European country on a full scholarship. She is now on her way to Europe, a powerful reminder of hope and possibility. An inspiration to keep the Circle going!
