Afghan Fundraising Dinner

The Family Reunion and Protection Visas Circle (115) invites you to come and enjoy a delicious Afghan meal with your friends to help raise money to help refugees and asylum seekers with the costs of family reunion and protection visas.

Fundraising dinner: Ukranian Feast for Refugees

Join Circle 9 for a culinary feast featuring foods from the cookbooks of Ukrainian author and chef, Olia Hercules.
When: 6:30-8:30pm Friday the 26th and Saturday the 27th of April 2024
Where: Olive Branch Cafe, 84 Main Road, Balhannah.
There is an option when booking to sponsor a refugee to come for free.
BYO drinks or buy at the venue.
All funds raised will go into refugee support, with a fundraising raffle to be held on the night, please bring cash.

Hosted by Circle 127 with all money raised going towards paying for a visa application for Aziza, a young Afghan woman who is sheltering in another country. Aziza’s father recently received his Permanent Protection Visa from the Australian Government after 10 years of waiting and working on a temporary protection visa. Unfortunately, Aziza’s father has had a severe work injury and can no longer work. He is trying desperately to bring his family to safety.
