Ultra Adelaide run in support of girl’s education in Afghanistan

Paige Honor is raising money for Erfan Abidi’s  Empowerment Network Circle by running in SA’s Ultra Adelaide 100 miles (about 160 km) on July 12th. She aims to raise money and awareness for the secret schools that are part of the Empowerment Network Circle’s Underground Schools Initiative for girls in Afghanistan. She’s running to support these brave girls and their teachers, ensuring education continues despite the risks.

The Empowerment Network Circle would be very grateful if you could donate to a very worthwhile cause by via the My Cause webpage – as well as sending it on to your contacts.

Cisarua Learning  is celebrating 10 years of refugee-led education – a journey that started with just $200 and two small classrooms. Today, it  has grown to support over 2,000 refugee students across seven initiatives. From Indonesia to Afghanistan, the program has demonstrated the transformative power of refugee-led education. The program has produced students  who have graduated with internationally recognised certificates and some have even presented at the United Nations in Geneva.

But our work isn’t done. With your support, we can continue to expand our impact, particularly in supporting women’s education in Afghanistan and refugee education in Indonesia and Thailand.
